Wordpress has now been upgraded to v2.x.
Matt King has just created updated
scripts for Quicken 2005 and 2006
The only major problem reported about the scripts is they will not work with
the Quicken 2006 reporting center. You can also follow discussions about
the scripts in the Yahoo group linked below.

On Friday and Saturday of this past week, I attended
Podcast Academy 2
held at Boston University. I picked up a few tips. It was more like a podcasting conference series of seminars, as opposed to a soup to nuts training getting started type event for the podcaster.
If nothing else, there were some interesting sessions (Morning stories, Grape Radio, corporate podcasting), etc. And it has inspired me to clean up and organize this blog and podcast a bit.
Podcasting is still a foreign concept to most people who are not techies. And many people even who work in the information technology field are not “techies” by hobbey, etc.
For instance most Americans don’t know what a podcast is.
Another fundamental concept is that most corporations, outside of say the media and high tech field, fear the unknown including podcasting.
Podcast Academy 3 will be at Yahoo in California, and you can refer to
for more details.
You can also refer to
[chrisbrogan.com]
for more details, thoughts, and links from this past event. Looks like a neat blog also. And thanks to Chris for the DC Night Out link. Also all content from the podcast academy is available from the above BU link in the form of downloadable podcast files.
A generous member of the Flyertalk community has made available United Airlines electronic certificates that allow for a discount on air tickets of $150 or more. You redeme the discounts by booking on the United web site, selecting search by schedule, and entering an electronic certificate number found in the Flyertalk thread below. See the thread for more details. H: United Entertainment Coupon W: You tell me what I want.
Have you tried Hershey’s Take 5 candy bars? I had not tried them prior to joining this BZZ Blast:
“It’s tough to make the greatest candy bar ever, but fortunately the folks at Hershey’s have succeeded in doing just that (we hear they know a thing or two
about chocolate and candy). With a unique combination of peanuts, peanut butter, pretzels, caramel and Hershey’s chocolate, Take 5 really satisfies and
tastes unbelievable, all at the same time.
By joining this BzzBlast you’ll help Hershey’s spread the word and become a Take 5 Believer. In your BzzKit you’ll find 20 snack-size Take 5 bars. We want
you to try a couple and pass the rest on to your family and friends. Don’t worry, we understand the temptation. But we’re sure you’ll want to spread the
Bzz about Take 5 once you try it and believe it is the greatest. So have fun eating, sharing and Bzzing.”
You too can receive a box of 20 Take 5 candby bars, absolutely free, no strings attached, no salesperson will call or knock on your door. Plus as a BZZ Agent (pronounced Buzz Agent) you can have the opportunity to get many valuable product samples through their word of mouth marketing campaigns.
And I’m not talking junk either. For instance, here’s just some of what I have gotten as a BZZ Agent:
and much more!
So click below to join the BZZ Blast to get your free candy, and who knows what other products you may get in the future. Note, I don’t receive any credit for referring you, so I am solely referring you to BZZ Agent because you can get cool free stuff on the internet. Reminds me a bit of the early days of the net when Yahoo had a free stuff section:

This is a more informal than usual happy hour podcast from Remingtons Of Boston, 124 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. And no, they don’t appear to have their own web site. After very brief introductions, mostly satire is provided for your entertainment.
I was just completing my tax return today using Turbotax for the web. In Massachusetts, we get a few extra days to do this than the rest of you. I’ve used Turbotax for the last several years. In several places in the system, they have an option to click to hear audio on the given topic you are working on. One might expect these audio files to be dry and boring, but this year they were pretty funny. Click here for a sample. This sample comes from near the end of the process. You can also change the number in the URL to hear some of the other audio help files, it runs from about 1 to 25, but some numbers are skipped. I may add some more links to this post, but don’t count on that.

We begin by reminding listenters about airline Rule 240 and 120.20 which involves passengers being transferred from one airline to another. I could not find many if any comprehensive articles on this to link too.
We go on to discuss several other podcasts from the CSUN 2006 conference that are available. These include:
Blind Access Journal
Blind Cool Tech
The Desert Skys
and
ACB Radio
We highlight products from a company called Code Factory which produces screen reader software for off the shelf PDA devices.
Did you know that about 50 plus CSUN attendees stay at the Embassy Suites LAX North hotel instead of the Hilton and Marriott? Note, there is also an Embassy Suites LAX South (but North is what you want). We hear from someone on the podcast who describes the experience of staying in this alternative hotel.
Also the food and beer at the Four Points LAXis recommended.
